Creighton Award

In 2004, Steve Creighton, a Northumberland Major Winner at Hoebridge in 1989, who now lives in Australia, was back in the UK and donated the Creighton Trophy. The Creighton is awarded to the player at each gold day who scores the most points on the par three holes. Steve felt that this gave the higher handicap players, who may struggle to win a longest drive or nearest the pin competition, a chance of competing with the lower handcappers. Since the competition started, here are the winners of the trophy.
